Union Mills Library History
The Union Mills Library was originally founded in 1956 through the efforts of the Federated Women’s Club. It became a branch of the La Porte County Public Library in 1957. The original library was located near the Mill Pond. The library moved to the current location in 1989. It was renovated in 2016 as a part of a major renovation project. This location has a fruit tree orchard and a musical garden.

This month we're celebrating Halloween!
Start with a silly story at the Library! After, follow clues outdoors to celebrate our own not-so-very-scary cemetery with family and friends!
Come, creatures of the night, and bring a flashlight. Start with a hint of horror with a story at the Library. Then, creep after clues through the cemetery under the Hunter’s Moon.
The season of change is upon us. Come to the Union Mills Branch for autumn yoga!
Please join us for a lively discussion of this month's selection. Newcomers are always welcome!
