This summer, explore the different collections in the Youth Department! We'll learn about each section and what books belong in it, so you can feel more confident when browsing for your next book!

We'll review the basics of Tinkercad and creating 3D files, then will design a travel-sized tic-tac-toe or checkers game, great for camping, trips to the beach, hanging out with friends, and more! 

Learn all about the lathe, including safety precautions, parts of the machine, materials and supplies, and turning techniques. Each class can be taken on its own or combined with others to build a deeper, more comprehensive understanding.

Are you interested in quilting, but don't know where to start? We'll cover what you need to know, such as how to read a quilting pattern, material selection, fabric preparation, measuring, piecing, and finishing techniques.

This family-friendly storytime focuses on stories, songs, and more! Structured around the Every Child Ready to Read Curriculum™, storytime is a great way to have fun, while working on reading, social, and motor skills.

This month, we will learn about Hieroglyphics, the Ancient Egyptian writing system. Then, we will practice writing our own messages using Hieroglyphics. 

Learn about professions like archaeology and paleontology, then find 3D printed dinosaur fossils and bones in your own dino dig! You'll also learn about the Makerspace's 3D printers and Cricut.
