Join us for an evening of sewing! Watch a demo, work on a project, and interact with other makers!  

The Exchange Classroom will be set up with sewing machines, tools, and tables for you to use. There will be a demo of a new project or skill at the beginning of each Open Sew session. After the demonstration, you can stay to work, or observe and interact with others in the class.

Not sure what to sew? Instructions and materials for some projects will be available or bring your own! An instructor will be present to assist with equipment or answer your sewing questions to the best of their ability.

Want to sew more? Schedule a one-on-one session with Exchange staff to get your authorization to use the sewing machines on your own or, if time allows, complete your training during this session.

During this class, you will work with machinery and a variety of tools. Closed toe shoes are required. Avoid wearing baggy clothing or dangling jewelry, and tie back long hair.
