Digital Inclusion Week: Preserving Family Memories

In honor of Digital Inclusion Week, Digital Navigators will be hosting events at all LPCPL locations throughout the week to offer digital literacy instruction and personalized tech assistance. This initiative supports the national effort to close the digital divide by making technology more accessible and easier for everyone to understand. Each attendee will receive a special gift.

Discover how to preserve your treasured family memories using the library’s digitization equipment. Learn how to scan printed photos, film negatives, and slides, as well as convert 8mm and Super 8 film reels to digital formats. We also offer a VHS-to-digital conversion kit that can be checked out and used at home. Join us to explore all the tools and resources available to help you safeguard your family history for future generations.
