Program Description

Event Details

Alexander Hamilton believed that a financially stable government was crucial for defending against foreign threats. He made concessions with his adversaries to ensure a balanced budget and fulfill the commitments made to the veterans of the Continental Army. Interestingly, the policies Hamilton's opponents initially resisted benefited them once they assumed
power. This event is appropriate for students in grades 6 and up.
