17 Mar See the “New” Indiana Room
“See the ‘New’ Indiana Room” is next in the Local Lore series that will be held Thursday, April 6 from 6:30-7:30pm in the newly remodeled Indiana Room at the Main Library. Admire the beautiful, exposed brick wall uncovered during the remodeling process from the original Carnegie Library built almost 100 years ago. We will introduce you to all of the historical materials of Indiana history and local history that this room holds and how to use them. You will learn about the pamphlet files and how to utilize the microfilm machine, as well. Then find out about our genealogy databases that can be accessed in the room, Computer Lounge, or any of our library branches. Everyone should walk away with some new ideas about what you might be able to discover at our library.
