Event Details

Now is your chance to make your first chess piece. Using the chuck on the wood lathe, you will learn how to design, turn, and measure on the lathe so you will be prepared to take on this challenging project. Previous experience on the wood lathe is required.

Exchange Safety

During this class, you will work with machinery and a variety of tools. Closed toe shoes are required. Avoid wearing baggy clothing or dangling jewelry, and tie back long hair.
