What's next on the lathe? So you’ve learned how to use the wood lathe, and now it’s time to try out some creative turning. Instructors will help you plan or start a project you’ve always wanted to try, or let you loose on a turning blank.

You will also have the opportunity to learn about some of the next level turning techniques and tools such as the skews, chisels, and gouges. Previous experience with the wood lathe is required.

During this class, you will work with machinery and a variety of tools. Closed toe shoes are required. Avoid wearing baggy clothing or dangling jewelry, and tie back long hair.
