Do I need to be on a computer at the library in order to access library databases?
No. If you are logged into your library account, you can access most of our databases from anywhere you’d like.
What software programs are on library computers?
All locations have Chrome, Firefox, LibreOffice, and GIMP.
The Main Library has Microsoft Office 2010 and you can use Adobe Creative Suite 6 in the Spark Labs makerspace.
I have low vision. Does the library have any equipment or software to help me?
Yes, the Main Library has a magnifier which allows you to magnify an type of written material. It is located in the Indiana Room.
JAWS, Job Access With Speech, which is the world’s most popular screen reader, developed for computer users whose vision loss prevents them from seeing screen content or navigating with a mouse is available in the Computer Lounge at the Main Library.
