Do I need to use a library computer to access online databases?

No. If you are logged into your library account, you can access most of our databases from anywhere you’d like.

What programs do the computers have?

All locations have Chrome, Firefox, LibreOffice, and GIMP.

The main library small business center has Microsoft Office 2010 and Adobe Creative Suite 6.

I have low vision, does the library have any software or equipment to help me?

Yes, the main library has a Magnifier machine which allows you to place any type of written material on the base and magnify it as well as JAWS, Job Access With Speech, which is the world’s most popular screen reader, developed for computer users whose vision loss prevents them from seeing screen content or navigating with a mouse.
